“Worms will not eat living wood where the sap is flowing; rust will not hinder the opening of a gate when the hinges are used each day. Stagnation brings disease and death. Movement gives Health and Life”
– Chinese Proverb
What is Craniosacral Therapy?

The craniosacral system is like any other system in your body. It has specific movements and jobs that it does. It is important that this system has the ability to move in the manner it was designed to have optimal functioning of the nervous system, brain function and endocrine system.

Craniosacral Therapy is a noninvasive hands-on therapy that allows the client to experience their own innate transformative healing power from within.
Debra will also consider, with you, other aspects of your life that will be helpful in your healing process.
What to expect

Lying down, fully clothed, in a comfortable position, Debra gently holds your head, spine, and/or feet. You may go into a peaceful, meditative state during the session that feels deeply restful and nurturing. As the body lets go of unnecessary stress and strain, you could find yourself feeling a deep sense of relaxation. You might become aware of sensations such as heat, tingling and pulsations as your healing process unfolds. After your session you may feel increased mobility in your body, relief from pain, and increased mental clarity.
Benefits for babies and children

Craniosacral therapy is very helpful in resolving cranial molding that baby’s experience during birth. Unresolved birth trauma and cranial molding can cause and/or contribute to colic, ear infections, slowing development stages, irritable and agitated babies, and ADHD, and learning difficulties.
Benefits for pre and postnatal

Pregnant women experience enormous changes in hormone levels during pregnancy and after they have delivered their babies. These changes are often experienced as fluctuations causing mood swings and “baby blues”. Working with the craniosacral system has been known to help balance and diminish the affects of these fluctuations.

Craniosacral therapy is also helpful for mothers in preparing for labor and delivery. It is a great therapy for those who experience back and leg pain due to pregnancy and lactation.
Benefits for everyone

Craniosacral therapy helps resolve traumatic events that happen in our lives. To name a few areas concerning many people today are car accidents, surgeries, dental work, post traumatic stress, migraines and headaches, neck and back pain, and stress and tension related illness.
